Surfing (as always)

I went out surfing yesterday after work, the waves were huge! (At least for me they were). By the time I had paddled out, I was so freakin exhausted that it took my forever to catch a wave. I actually only ended up catching 2 in the hour and a half I was out there, but they were awesome. My last wave I caught, rode it until it reformed, rode that, then rode the white water right onto the beach where i then hopped off my board. Incidentally, I really impressed these two guys with my oober cool dismount (they had riddin in and fallen off their boards).

Random update on my life

This weekend was busy.Saturday i went out on a date with Denny, but got a headache, that was not so much fun. However, I was able to definintely figured out that i am in no way attracted to him. I need to have 'the talk' at some point. I hate that talk. It makes me feel like such a jerk, like I've wasted their time or something. Grossness. Sunday was better, I walked around the park before going to work and found a place that teaches free kung fu! They meet every sunday @ 10 near the international cottages, anyone want to come with me next sunday? I went to work and got paid double since it was so damn busy, coolness yes? and then i went surfing and caught three really perfect waves. There was this beautiful guy that i totatlly fell in love with. Until he got in my way and i ended up missing this really great wave, i'm not in love with him anymore. Oh, and i have classified and ranked the seaweed.(This list goes from most feared to least feared)1. The fuzzies - these are the long, rope like fuzzy seaweed. 2. The slimies - these are the kelp, with the large leaves and air sacs.3. The grass - this is sea grass. I then went up to Poway and hung out w/Maddy. We had flautas and played pool, it was really funny. We accidentally played a bevis and butthead song, and the whole place knew it. She won our tournament (3 games) by default. It was cool. I wish i got to see her more, i don't get enough random funnies in my life now that we don't see each other as much.Monday was cool too. I went on a 5 mile hike in torrey pines w/Karol, a volunteer from work. I felt all healthy.Then i went up to poway and got ready for the party, well, maddy did most of that. we ended up having about 10 or so people, more girls then guys :). It was really fun. we played marco polo, poker and this really funny game called 'psychiatrist'. the party went from 5 to about 11:30, i'm really tired, but it was worth it.

At Last....

At last, I am done with finals. I had my last one at 8pm yesterday. I'm kinda sad about that one, that was a great class. I'm going to try and stay in touch with that teacher. Still, it's great to be finished with the semester. When I was done, I decided to go surfing. The water was sooo warm (way warmer than the pool I had jumped in earlier). It was surreal. It was dark, i was the only one out there, I could see lights all up and down the coast, but i could barely make out the waves. I think that once i get over my fear of random darkness i'll be doing that kind of surfing a lot. At least in the summer. Anyone want to be my night time surfing buddy?

School and such

I want to start, and become president of, 'The National Straw Council', or maybe 'The International Straw Council' if it doesn't already exist. Then I could travel the Globe promoting Straw use, straw safety and general strawness. Do you think the straw industry would sponsor me? Would anyone want to be my VP and/or treasurer? You probably wouldn't get to travel, you'd just be doing all the paper work. But think of how good that will look on your Resume...It's the last two weeks of the semester, and I'm totally stressing. I always do. I really just want to be done with it already. My last final is on wednesday night. I'll be happier after that. I saw a post, and I want to reply, but I'm not sure that I should. I don't know if the person wants to talk to me since they haven't added me as their friend...I haven't been surfing in so long. I get to go this weekend though. Saturday is a surfing/sleep in day (I don't have work until 6ish) anyone want to come with me?I've decided that all falling in love does is fuck with people. Even the couples that are good, aren't, not really. I know I'll probably end up falling in love, I just hope it doesn't happen any time soon. I'm to damn busy for that nonesense.I'll just have to wait until I'm 25 I guess...Grr, I'm tired and hungry. Anyone want to post another of those online questionnaires? I'm really bored.
